Born on the river

Soča Base Camp sits at the heart of the Soča Valley — one of Europe’s last wild rivers, famous for its impossible shade of turquoise. We’ve been guiding adventurers since 2009.

Whether you’re shooting rapids, soaring above the Alps on a tandem paraglider, or paddling silently through a limestone gorge — every experience is designed around safety and exhilaration.

Important — before your visit

You need a Soča River Pass

Required by Slovenian law for everyone using the river. Not included in our prices, but it only takes a minute to buy online and supports the conservation of the valley.

Not for rafting, kayak rental, or tandem paragliding — these are designed for complete beginners. Kayak lessons are also accessible from zero. Just bring enthusiasm.
For water activities: swimsuit, towel, clothes to change into. All safety equipment (helmet, life vest, wetsuit) is provided. For paragliding: comfortable clothes and closed-toe shoes.
Cancel or reschedule up to 48 hours before for a full refund. Cancellations within 48 hours are non-refundable but can be rescheduled once free of charge. Payments via SumUp.
Yes — a valid River Pass is required by Slovenian law for all activities on the Soča river. It is not included in our prices. You must purchase one yourself at gosoca.si before your activity.
Rafting: ages 8+ (min 30 kg). Paragliding: age 12+ with guardian consent, max 100 kg for tandem flights. Kayaking: age 14+. Contact us with specific questions.
We are near Tolmin in the Soča Valley — about 2 hours from Ljubljana airport and 2.5 hours from Trieste. Full directions and parking info are sent in your booking confirmation.
