This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, how we use them, and how you can control them when visiting socabasecamp.com.

What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to remember your actions and preferences (such as language or login status) over a period of time, so you don’t have to re-enter them every time you visit.

Cookies we use
Strictly necessary (always on)
These cookies are essential for the website to function. They cannot be disabled.

WordPress session — keeps your form data during the booking process. Expires when you close the browser.
Cookie consent state — remembers your cookie preferences. Expires after 12 months.
Language preference (WPML) — remembers which language version you selected.
Analytics (consent-based)
Only set if you accept analytics cookies in the consent banner.

Google Analytics (_ga, _ga_*) — measures visitor numbers and which pages are popular. Helps us improve the site. Data is anonymised. Expires after 2 years.
Third-party services
SumUp — sets cookies on its own payment iframe to handle card transactions securely. These are managed by SumUp under their own privacy policy.
Google Fonts — fonts are loaded from Google’s CDN; Google may set cookies. We’ve configured the site to minimise data sent to Google.
Managing cookies
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer of any page. You can also delete cookies through your browser settings:

Chrome
Firefox
Safari
Edge
Note: Disabling cookies may affect site functionality. The booking system requires session cookies to work.
